Integrated Community Solutions (ICS) is led by an independent board of directors composed of passionate parents and highly-respected professionals from multiple industries. ICS plans to add at least one self-advocate. The board of directors is supported and enhanced through consultants and advisors with recognized expertise in areas specific to the mission of ICS.

 
 

Lisa Morrison, Co-Founder, President and Treasurer

As the parent of three young adults with autism, Lisa recognized the need for community-based housing options for individuals with developmental disabilities that provide permanence and security, and foster individual growth and independence. To address the lack of options in her area, she founded Integrated Community Solutions with her husband, Jim.

Jim Morrison, Co-Founder and Vice President

Jim co-founded Integrated Community Solutions (ICS) to provide another housing option for the developmental disabilities (DD) community. Having 3 adult children on the autism spectrum gives him a unique perspective on the long-term housing challenges facing people in this community.

Laura has been a Medina County resident for most of her life and is the CEO and Co-Founder of Brock11 Consulting, providing Human Resources and Organizational Development services to companies across the United States.

Kurt Hawley, Director

Kurt is parent of a child with Down Syndrome and President of Kurt A Hawley Insurance Agency, Inc, a local State Farm Agency founded in 1989.  Our family has resided in and been active in the Medina County community for over 30 years and it is our desire to continue doing so well into the future.

Christina Laskovski, Director

Christina Laskovski, an attorney for over 14 years, assists clients with estate planning and trust administration. She manages client relationships that total over $250 million. Christina also works with families as they determine the best way to manage their assets in investment accounts and develop retirement strategies.

Cheryl has been a Medina County resident for more than 50 years and currently serves Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates as the Medina County Coordinator. She has a 21-year-old son with autism.

Jeff Mourdant, Director

Jeff is a Managing Director at Stout Risius Ross (“Stout”) with nearly 30 years of experience providing a broad range of business and financial advice to trial lawyers and in-house counsel. He also serves on the board of New Avenues to Independence which provides support services, including housing, to adults with disabilities. Jeff and his wife Amy live in Medina County and have two sons, one of which has autism.

Ken Okeson, Director

Ken is a recent Medina County resident and is retired from a 40-year career as an owner of an independent insurance agency. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University, a veteran of the US Navy where he served as an officer of a nuclear submarine, and a grandfather to a grandson with autism.

Denise has served as Director of Planning Services and Fair Housing for the Medina County Commissioners since September 2020. She is excited to serve on the ICS Board because she believes the social, educational, employment, and housing opportunities will have a lasting, positive impact on the families within the greater Medina County region.
